Balancing and regulating valve Danfoss AB-QM 25 is a multifunctional device combining the functions of a balancing and regulating valve in one body. The AB-QM 25 valve is particularly recommended for use in variable flow installations, such as air handling units, fan coil units, chilled ceilings and beams, and single-pipe heating installations. Its linear control characteristic guarantees accurate flow adjustment to the needs of the receiver. Compatibility with various types of actuators – on/off, 2-point, 3-point and 0-10V – provides flexibility in selecting a solution to specific installation requirements. This makes it possible to maintain optimal hydraulic balance throughout the system. The valve also performs well in constant flow installations.

Construction and materials

The valve body is made of high-quality dezincification resistant brass (DZR), which ensures its durability and corrosion resistance. The actuator connection is M30 x 1.5 thread. The working length is 104 mm, and the nominal diameter is DN 25. The valve is adapted to work with glycol and liquids, and its device pressure class is PN 16. Connection to the installation is made using a cylindrical external gas thread (BSPP). The maximum pressure difference that the valve can withstand is 25 kPa, and the minimum pressure difference is 20 kPa. The stroke length is 4.5 mm. The flow rate ranges from 0.34 to 1.7 m³/h.
