The RA-N type valve insert is an element designed for installation in radiators, allowing precise temperature control in the room. Made of brass, it ensures durability and corrosion resistance. Compatible with a wide range of Danfoss thermostatic heads – both gas, liquid, and electronic – it offers great freedom in choosing a heating control system. Thanks to the possibility of pre-setting the flow rate, the operation of the installation can be optimized and even heat distribution can be ensured.

The RA-N insert is dedicated to cooperation with radiators from popular manufacturers such as Brugman, Buderus, Delonghi and Korado. Its standard connection size (1/2 inch) facilitates installation in most installations. The possibility of use with various types of Danfoss thermostatic heads (RA 2000, RAW, RAX, living eco, living connect) makes it a universal solution for different needs and preferences. It is worth remembering about the possibility of replacing the valve restrictor under pressure – which facilitates servicing and minimizes installation downtime.

Parameters affecting efficiency

The insert is characterized by a Kv value range from 0.14 to 0.73 and a Kvs value of 1.05. These parameters determine the valve's flow rate and affect its performance in various operating conditions. The lack of limitation of the pre-setting stroke allows for full control over the heat flow and adaptation to individual user needs. Made of brass and equipped with an external O-ring seal ensures tightness and long-term reliability. The length of the insert is 44 mm, which ensures its compatibility with most standard radiators available on the market.
