Thermal actuator for precise heating control

The Thermot (TWA) thermal actuator is a reliable device designed to control valves in underfloor heating and radiator systems. Equipped with an M30 x 1.5 thread and powered by 24V AC, it provides smooth and efficient temperature regulation. The NC (normally closed) model guarantees that the valve remains closed in the event of a power failure – which is particularly important for the safety and energy efficiency of the system. A 1m cable length facilitates installation and connection to the controller.

Functionality and application

This actuator is compatible with a wide range of valves, including Heimeier, MNG, Oventrop and manifolds from Kisan, Gorgiel, Prandelli, Purmo, QiK, Rehau, Roth and Tece (with M30x1.5 insert). This makes it a universal solution for both new installations and the modernization of existing heating systems. The valve position indicator allows for visual monitoring of the device status. PWM control signal enables precise adjustment of the actuator's operation to the needs of the installation.

Construction and user features

The Thermot actuator is characterized by a solid gas-filled construction, which ensures its durability and reliability. The housing with dimensions of 68 x 92 mm and IP41 protection class guarantees resistance to environmental conditions prevailing in most technical rooms. Manual operation allows for emergency valve control without access to power. Rated power of 2 VA ensures energy-efficient operation. The operating ambient temperature is from 60°C to 60°C – a typical range for most heating installations. The white housing color facilitates integration with the surroundings.
