The ASV-BD valve is a component used for precise flow control of heating or cooling medium in central heating and air conditioning systems. It is designed to work with ASV-P/-PV valves, creating a complete hydraulic balancing system. Its brass construction ensures durability and corrosion resistance, which is particularly important in demanding operating conditions.

This valve finds application in both domestic and public utility installations where maintaining optimal temperature in individual rooms is crucial. Thanks to precise flow control, it allows minimizing energy losses and reducing operating costs of the heating system. The Kvs value of 6.6 provides adequate performance for installations with a nominal diameter of DN20.

Constructional and functional features

The ASV-BD valve is characterized by a solid construction with a housing made of dezincification resistant brass (DZR). It has a 3/4 inch internal thread, which facilitates installation and integration with the existing installation. The position indicator allows visual control of the valve status, and the measuring ports allow connecting a manometer or other measuring device to monitor the pressure. Additionally, the valve has a drain, which facilitates maintenance and servicing. The maximum differential pressure of 250 bar guarantees safe operation even in installations with high working pressure.

The valve is adapted to work at a temperature of up to 120°C, which makes it suitable for most standard heating systems. It should be remembered that it is not intended for drinking water or domestic hot water - its main application is flow control in CH systems. Manual operation ensures ease of use and reliable operation, and the lack of motor control eliminates the risk of failures related to electronics.
