Ground source heat pump GSHP 12 TR 7612245
Geothermal heat pump with cooling function
The GSHP ground source heat pump is an advanced glycol/water or water/water type device with a standard cooling function. The GSHP 12 TR model is powered by three-phase current and is part of a series of devices with capacities ranging from 5,7 to 28 kW, allowing for adaptation to various installation needs.
Advanced design, components, and control system
The heart of the module is a high-efficiency hermetic scroll compressor, which ensures reliable operation with high energy efficiency. The system is equipped with plate heat exchangers serving as the condenser and evaporator, as well as a complete set of control and safety elements: an expansion valve, a filter drier, low and high-pressure pressure switches, and a 4-way reversing valve enabling switching between heating and cooling modes.
The hydraulic system includes two circulation pumps with an energy efficiency index EEI<0,23 - one on the primary side (source) and one on the secondary side (heating). Additionally, a flow meter is installed on the heating circuit side and a flow sensor on the source side for precise operational control.
The DIEMATIC iSystem controller serves as the control center for the entire system - it defines the heat pump's operating parameters and allows for the simultaneous control of up to three heating circuits. The system also enables control of the circulation pump and the cooling function.
Operational safety is ensured by: an electronic pressure gauge for the hydraulic system monitoring system pressure, a safety valve protecting against excessive pressure increase, and an air vent removing air from the installation. Additionally, soundproofing insulation is installed to reduce noise during device operation.
Operating parameters and performance
The device operates in a wide temperature range: for heating mode with a water supply temperature of +7°C/+80°C, and for the source collector -15°C/+35°C. In cooling mode, the range is +7°C/+25°C for the water supply temperature, maintaining the same limits for the collector. The maximum working pressure is 3 bar in both the heating circuit and the collector.
The GSHP series is characterized by high COP values reaching over 4,0, which testifies to the very favorable energy efficiency of the devices in this series. Electrical power consumption is optimized to achieve the maximum amount of thermal energy with minimal electrical energy consumption.
Installation flexibility and warranty
The pump can draw energy through various types of glycol exchangers - both horizontal collectors and vertical probes. There is also the possibility of direct heat extraction from groundwater using dedicated intermediate exchangers that protect the main evaporator from corrosion and fouling.
The model is standardly equipped with a switching valve allowing for the control of CH/DHW circuits, which expands the device's functionality to include domestic hot water heating. For higher capacities, optional electrical backup kits with a power of up to 9 kW are available.
The device is covered by a 5-year warranty, confirming the high quality of workmanship and the reliability of the design over a long period of operation.
