Hybrid heating system – efficiency and savings

This complete heating system combines the advantages of a condensing gas boiler with modern air-to-water heat pump technology. This solution provides high thermal comfort, low operating costs and environmental care. The device is particularly recommended for the modernization of existing installations, but will also work well in new construction.

The HPI G 15/16 MR Hybrid B200 system is a combination of a Modulens G boiler with an air/water Inverter heat pump. This configuration allows for optimal use of both heat sources, adapting to current weather conditions and user needs. The heat pump works efficiently during mild winters, and the gas boiler provides reliable heating during extreme frosts.

Construction and application

The set consists of a 200 ASL Hybrid internal hydraulic module and an AWHP external unit. The internal module contains a hybrid tank with a capacity of 180 liters with a built-in stainless steel condenser, a hydraulic distributor and a modulating circulation pump. Next to the tank is a standing condensing gas boiler MODULENS G, which can operate on natural gas H, L or propane. The external unit is equipped with a high-performance Twin Rotary or Scroll compressor (DC Inverter technology) and an air evaporator with quiet fans.

The device works efficiently even at low outdoor temperatures – down to -20°C (or -15°C for models 4.5 and 6 MR). The electrical power supply is single-phase, and INVERTER technology limits the inrush current, which facilitates integration with the existing electrical installation.
