Solid Foundation for Large Electrical Installations

A spacious freestanding enclosure, designed for indoor installation, serves as the foundation for expanded distribution systems. With dimensions exceeding 1.7 meters in height and over one meter in width, the interior offers significant freedom for cable routing and the installation of switching equipment. Constructed from steel and coated with durable powder paint in gray (RAL 7035), it ensures resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage to IK08 standard. Such robustness is crucial in industrial or technical environments where the enclosure must withstand not only the weight of installed modules but also potential impacts during operation.

Mounting Flexibility and Access Safety

A key feature of this distribution board is the two-door opening system, secured by a three-point rotary lock. This mechanism not only hinders unauthorized access to the interior but also ensures a tight seal of the entire structure, which is essential for the IP30 protection rating – protecting against access to solid objects larger than 2.5 mm in diameter. Inside, there is a mounting plate with adjustable depth, allowing the installer to precisely adjust the distance from the rear wall to meet the requirements of specific modules or busbars. The rear wall is galvanized, further enhancing resistance to environmental factors inside the enclosure. It is worth noting that the device complies with the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) directive, minimizing the risk of interference with sensitive control electronics.

Application and Expansion Capabilities

The enclosure is ideal as an empty "skeleton" for custom low-voltage distribution board projects. The absence of factory-installed electrical components provides complete freedom in selecting equipment – from fuse links to modern circuit breakers or control relays. Thanks to the possibility of metric mounting and the lack of obstacles such as embossments or glass doors (the doors are solid), the installer can optimally utilize every centimeter of internal space.

The external dimensions of the device are 1215 mm width, 1780 mm height, and 315 mm depth, corresponding to standard sizes for this type of freestanding construction (internal working space is approx. 1760 x 1200 x 300 mm). The enclosure is made of sheet steel with an impact resistance class of IK08 and a protection rating of IP30. It is equipped with two solid doors, one three-point lock, and a mounting plate with adjustable depth, ready to accept any equipment compatible with the metric mounting system.

It is important to remember that although the enclosure is ready for immediate floor mounting (freestanding model), the final thermal resistance of the entire system and short-circuit withstand capability depend on the applied equipment and its arrangement – in accordance with IEC/TR 60890 and IEC 62208 standards, the system designer is responsible for these calculations. For installers, this means full control over system configuration without the need to adapt to rigid factory limitations.
