Overcurrent circuit breakers – protection of installations and devices
The HN-C32/1N overcurrent circuit breaker is a reliable protection for your electrical installation. Designed to protect circuits against the effects of overloads and short circuits, it ensures safe and stable system operation. This model, with a rated current of 32A and a short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA, is perfect for protecting socket circuits, lighting circuits, and RTV and household appliances. Characteristic C means that the circuit breaker reacts quickly to sudden current surges, but at the same time allows for short-term overloads, which is particularly important when starting devices with electric motors.
Construction and installation – simplicity and functionality
The HN-C32/1N circuit breaker has been designed with easy installation and convenient operation in mind. Installation is done on a standard DIN TH 35 rail, and the double connection terminals – both screw and lift – allow for flexible connection of wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm². The versatility of the device is confirmed by the possibility of power supply from both the top and the bottom. Compact dimensions (2 modules wide) allow for efficient use of space in the switchgear cabinet. Additionally, the ability to seal the lever in the ON/OFF position provides additional safety and prevents accidental disconnection or connection of the circuit.
Application and compliance with standards
The HN-C32/1N overcurrent circuit breaker meets the requirements of EN 60898 and IEC 60947-2 standards, which guarantees its reliability and safety of use. The device has energy limitation class 3 and surge category 3, which makes it suitable for use in various electrical installations – both in residential and commercial buildings. The degree of protection IP20 provides protection against accidental contact, but does not protect against the effects of water or dust – therefore, the device should be mounted in dry and closed rooms. A wide range of operating temperatures (-25°C to +75°C) allows for operation in various environmental conditions.
