Motor protection with full circuit control

The Z-MS-10/3N motor starter is a complete device for protecting and controlling electric motor supply circuits. Thanks to its 3+N pole design, it ensures simultaneous control of three phases and the neutral conductor, guaranteeing safe installation operation.

Overload and short-circuit protection

The device is equipped with a lever as the actuating element, allowing for manual control, and integrated thermal protection. The magnetic trip reacts immediately to short circuits in the range of 78-105 A, while the thermal protection protects against long-term overload in the adjustable range of 6,3-10 A. This combination provides comprehensive protection against both sudden short circuits and gradual winding overheating.

Operating parameters and compatibility

The switch operates at a rated voltage of 400 V and a continuous current of 10 A, achieving a power of 4 kW for AC-3 applications at 400V. The design includes screw connections for the main contacts, allowing for secure connection of wires with a cross-section up to 25 mm². The IP20 protection rating protects against finger contact and solid objects larger than 12 mm.

Mounting and device dimensions

The device has dimensions of 75 × 70,8 × 80 mm (height × width × depth), allowing for mounting on a standard TS35 DIN rail. The compact design fits into typical modular distribution board spaces, and the absence of additional functions such as phase failure sensors or auxiliary contacts simplifies installation for basic motor applications.
