Three-phase motor protection with advanced protection

The Z-MS-25/3N motor starter is a complete device in an enclosure, designed specifically to protect three-phase electrical loads. Thanks to its integrated thermal and magnetic protection, it effectively protects the installation from the effects of overload and short circuits.

Construction and dimensions

The device features a compact design with dimensions of 80 × 70,8 × 75 mm (depth × width × height), allowing for space savings in the distribution board.

Operating parameters and settings

The switch offers a wide overload trip setting range from 16 to 25 A, allowing for precise adjustment to the parameters of a specific motor. The rated operating power for AC-3 at 400 V is 11 kW, making it an ideal solution for most industrial applications.

The magnetic tripping method ensures an immediate response to short circuits, while the thermal protection protects against long-term current overload.

Mounting and operation

Mounting is performed on a standard 35 mm DIN rail using clips, which guarantees fast and trouble-free installation in the distribution board. The actuator element is a practical lever, which enables manual control and ensures intuitive operation.

The device features a built-in operating indicator marked with red and green colors, allowing for quick monitoring of the device status without the need for disassembly.

Practical applications

The switch is ideal for industrial applications where reliable protection of three-phase motors with a power of up to 11 kW is required. The IP20 protection rating provides basic resistance to dust and accidental contact, which is sufficient for most indoor applications.

Thanks to the screw connections, installation is simple and secure, and the high mechanical durability (20 000 cycles) and electrical durability (6 000 cycles at AC-3) guarantee years of trouble-free operation even in heavily used installations.
