Optic-acoustic alarm – reliable warning in every situation

The Asserta MIDI alarm is a versatile device designed for alarm and informational signaling. It combines effective flashing light and a loud sound signal, providing a clear warning in various conditions. It is suitable for both industrial facilities and public buildings, as well as fire protection systems. A 9-60V DC power supply makes it compatible with a wide range of electrical installations.

Functionality and application

The device is ideal for applications requiring high visibility and audibility of the alarm signal. Thanks to the IP66 protection rating, it is resistant to dust and water, allowing installation both indoors and outdoors. Wall and ceiling mounting options provide flexibility during installation. The alarm uses a xenon light source, which generates a bright, pulsating flash. Two types of sound signal are available: pulsed and continuous, allowing adaptation to specific needs. A volume level of 108 dB guarantees that the signal will be audible even in a noisy environment.

Construction and parameters

The alarm housing is made of durable red plastic, which increases its visibility. The current consumption is 0.254 A at 60V DC, and the device power is 6.1 W. The sound signal frequency is 2.85 kHz. The device offers 32 alarm tones (information from USP), allowing precise definition of the type of hazard or alarm situation. High sound output up to 112dB(A) further emphasizes the effectiveness of this alarm. Surface mounting is simple and quick, making installation easier even for less experienced installers.
