Universal junction box for electrical installations – reliability and protection

The 2K box is a robust solution for surface mounting, designed for demanding electrical applications. Made of high-quality thermoplastic, it provides durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The two-component construction (PP/TPE) increases its strength and flexibility, and the IP65 protection rating guarantees the safety of the installation in harsh environmental conditions – against dust and water jets.

External mounting brackets facilitate stable mounting of the box to the wall or other surface. Threaded PG 13.5 cable glands provide a tight introduction of cables into the box, and flexible membranes provide additional protection against moisture and contaminants. The kit also includes color-coded 5x2.5 mm² mounting terminals, which facilitate cable organization and speed up the installation process.

Construction and functionality

The box is designed for practical use. Its dimensions (98x98x46 mm) allow for comfortable mounting of electrical installation equipment. The ability to mount both horizontally and vertically increases its versatility. The material used – plastic – provides good electrical insulation and corrosion resistance. The surface finish is matte, which minimizes glare and improves the aesthetics of the installation. The box complies with PN-EN-60670-1, confirming its safety and quality. The EC Declaration of Conformity No. 39/2016 is available for inspection by the manufacturer.
