The AQUANT 2K surface-mounted connector is a reliable element of electrical installation, designed for demanding conditions. Made of durable ABS+TPE plastic, it provides not only mechanical durability but, above all, high tightness confirmed by the IP65 protection class. This means it is resistant to dust and water jets, making it an ideal choice for bathrooms, kitchens, workshops, as well as public facilities and outdoor areas.

2K technology and safety of use

The AQUANT 2K series is distinguished by the use of innovative two-component sealing technology. This guarantees long-term protection against moisture and corrosion. Additional protection in the form of movable rubber glands integrated with the connector base provides even greater tightness of cable connections. The mechanism with a rated current of 10AX/250V~ is tested and reliable, and the impact resistance of IK07 confirms its resistance to mechanical damage. The set includes a circuit labeling card – a useful tool for installers and end users.

Installation and application

The connector is designed for surface mounting, which facilitates its installation in existing buildings. Its gray color (RAL 7035) fits most interior designs. Screw terminals ensure a secure and durable connection of wires. It meets the PN-EN-60669-1:2018-04 standard, which guarantees compliance with applicable safety standards. It is ideal as a single-pole switch in lighting circuits where high resistance to moisture and mechanical damage is required.
