Safe handwheels – VDN.FP+I+ST series

The safe full handwheel VDN.FP+I+ST is a standard machine part made of duroplast – a material that meets the guidelines of the REACH regulation, meaning it contains no hazardous chemicals. The wheel’s construction is reinforced at the handle mounting point, and the specially profiled rim with protrusions on the underside provides a secure grip and precise adjustment.

The wheel is equipped with a rotating handle to facilitate driving and a coupling set, making it a so-called safe wheel. In the rest position, the wheel can rotate freely on the axis without transmitting torque. Coupling occurs by pulling the wheel, which engages two splines and allows the torque to be transmitted to the shaft. After the operation is completed, the wheel automatically returns to the rest position. A version with a coupling engaged by pushing is also available.
