Lightning protection for buildings and equipment

This lightning rod, mounted on a quadripod, is a key element of the surge protection system. It is used to protect metal roof elements, as well as equipment such as skylights, air conditioners, ventilation units, and ventilation ducts from the effects of direct and indirect lightning strikes. A lightning arrester connector for the cable is included in the set, which facilitates integration with the rest of the installation. Please note that the concrete base – pad 44408208 – is sold separately and is essential for proper installation. For roofs covered with roofing felt or membrane, it is recommended to additionally use appropriate washers (94308222 for roofing felt and 94308221 for membrane) to ensure optimal connection and tightness.

The mast design has been designed with ease of installation and efficiency in mind. A length of 9 meters allows for the protection of large areas, and a diameter in the range of 16-3320 mm allows it to be adapted to different types of buildings and equipment. The materials used in production – aluminum and V2A stainless steel – guarantee long-term reliability even in harsh weather conditions. The lack of high-voltage insulation means that this mast is intended for traditional lightning protection systems, where protection is based on discharging the lightning current to the ground.
