This lightning mast, designed for mounting on a four-legged stand, is a key element of the surge protection system. It serves to protect the structural elements of the building and external devices – skylights, air conditioners, central ventilation units or ventilation ducts – from the effects of direct and indirect lightning strikes. Its use is particularly important where direct connection to down conductors is difficult or impossible.

The mast is made of aluminum, which ensures lightness and corrosion resistance, while the four-legged stand made of durable hot-dip galvanized steel guarantees the stability of the structure. The set includes the mast spike, a four-legged stand with 12 concrete bases, and a complete set of mounting elements. Please note that the base pad for the concrete base (cat. no. 44408208) and the pads for bituminous (94308222) and membrane (94308221) roofs are sold separately and recommended for optimal installation.

Construction and application

The mast construction is based on a combination of aluminum and stainless steel (V2A), which combines lightness, strength and weather resistance. Designed for use with round wire, this mast offers versatility in installation. Its length of 10 meters allows for effective creation of a protective zone around the secured object. A wide range of diameters (16…3320 mm) allows adaptation to different types of structures and devices.

This mast is used both in newly built facilities and in modernized lightning protection installations. It is ideal for industrial, commercial and public buildings, where protection against the effects of lightning strikes is crucial for the safety of people and property. The raw surface finish allows you to adapt the appearance of the mast to the aesthetics of the surroundings by painting or other finishing methods.
