Lightning protection for your building

This lightning rod, mounted on a quadpod, is a key element of the surge protection system. It serves to safely dissipate the energy of lightning strikes, protecting the building structure and the equipment on it – skylights, air conditioners, ventilation units or ventilation ducts – from damage. Using a mast allows you to create a protective zone around the protected elements, minimizing the risk of failure and ensuring safety.

The mast is made of aluminum, which guarantees its lightness and corrosion resistance. The quadpod, made of hot-dip galvanized steel, provides stability and durability of the structure even in harsh weather conditions. The set includes a lightning arrester connector for wire, making it easy to connect to the rest of the installation.

Installation and additional accessories

Remember that proper mounting of the mast on a concrete base requires a separately ordered base plate (cat. no. 44408208). For roofs covered with roofing felt or membrane, we recommend additionally using appropriate base plates (94308222 for roofing felt and 94308221 for membrane), which will ensure tightness and durability of the connection. The complete set includes the mast shaft, quadpod with 8 concrete bases and a mounting kit – everything you need to properly launch the system.

The mast with a length of 9 meters and a diameter adapted to the range of 16-3320 mm will be suitable for various applications. Its versatility allows it to be used in both newly built and modernized installations. The solid construction ensures reliable protection for years to come.
