Earthing clamp for foundation and reinforcement – reliable connection in the lightning protection system

This clamp, designed to connect the foundation tape to the reinforcing bar, is a key element in building an effective foundation earthing system and in reinforced concrete columns. Its solid construction ensures a durable and safe connection, minimizing the risk of failure of the lightning protection system. Made of black steel, this clamp is characterized by its strength and corrosion resistance, although it does not have an additional zinc coating.

This clamp finds wide application both during construction and during the modernization of existing installations. It allows for easy and quick connection of earthing elements, which translates into saving time and installation costs. It is compatible with conductors with a diameter of 28 mm and pipes in the range of 0-28 mm, which ensures versatility of application.

Construction features and mounting

The construction of the clamp is based on a screwed/bolted clamp, which guarantees a firm and stable mounting of the conductor. Installation is done by screwing, which facilitates installation even in difficult conditions. The distance from the wall is 20 mm, which ensures adequate insulation and minimizes the risk of short circuits. The construction height of the clamp is 68 mm, and its design allows for mounting both round conductors (diameter 28 mm) and flat conductors (width 30 mm).

This clamp meets the requirements for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (Ex), making it an ideal solution for industry and facilities with increased safety requirements. A metric thread size of M10 ensures compatibility with a wide range of mounting accessories. Thanks to this, installers can easily integrate it with existing earthing systems.
