Cable with rubber insulation H05RR-F (OW) 4x0.75 H05RR-F-4X0,75 OW
Universal rubber cable for domestic and professional applications
The H05RR-F cable is a flexible solution for powering electrical devices, both in domestic and professional environments. Made of multi-strand copper conductors wrapped in EPR rubber insulation, it provides a reliable connection and good resistance to mechanical damage. This cable is particularly useful where flexibility and resistance to external factors are required.
Construction and properties
The cable construction is based on copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², which provide good electrical conductivity. These conductors are surrounded by ethylene-propylene rubber (EPR) insulation, which guarantees high flexibility and abrasion resistance. The whole is protected by an outer coating of EPR rubber, which further increases durability and resistance to weather conditions. The cable has a black outer coating for easy identification.
The use of rubber as an insulating and coating material means that the cable remains flexible even at low temperatures (although it is not resistant to extremely low temperatures – the operating range is from -25°C to +60°C). This makes it ideal for use in rooms where cables are exposed to frequent bending and movement. This cable is characterized by a rated voltage of 300/500 V, making it suitable for most standard electrical installations. The minimum bending radius for permanently laid cables is 3D (three times the outer diameter), and for portable cables – 4D or 6D depending on the mechanical load. The outer diameter of the 4x0.75 mm² cable is approximately 7.4 mm.
Applications and benefits
The H05RR-F cable finds wide application in:
- Homes and offices: For powering electrical devices, lamps, and audio/video equipment.
- Kitchens: Due to its resistance to moisture and fats (although it is not oil-resistant according to IEC 60811-404).
- Workshops: For connecting power tools.
- Light industry: In places requiring flexible power supply for portable devices.
- Mobile applications: Where cable flexibility is needed during use.
It is worth remembering the fire reaction class Eca, which means limited flammability and smoke emission – important in the context of electrical installation safety. This cable does not have a screen or load-bearing elements, which affects its flexibility and ease of installation.
