The YDY 4x2.5 cable is a widely used conductor designed for electrical installations in buildings. Construction and Application
The YDY cable consists of four copper conductors, each with a 2.5 mm² cross-section, insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The entire assembly is protected by an outer PVC sheath, providing additional resistance to mechanical damage and atmospheric influences. This cable is intended for fixed installation inside buildings—both under plaster and on plaster—in dry and humid environments. It is suitable for lighting circuits, 230V socket outlets, and powering household appliances (AGD).

Fire reaction class is Eca, indicating limited flammability and low smoke emission in case of fire. The cable does not include a protective barrier or shield, and its round shape facilitates installation in various spaces. Insulation colors are multi-colored for easy identification of individual conductors during installation.
