Installation cable YDYt 500V 2×1.5 YDYT5-2X1,5
Installation cable for wide application
The YDYt 2x1.5 cable is a universal installation cable designed for safe and reliable power transmission in electrical installations. It performs reliably in residential, commercial, and public utility buildings. Its flat design facilitates mounting under plaster, while the robust outer sheath provides protection against mechanical damage and environmental factors.
Construction and application
The YDYt cable consists of two copper conductors with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The conductors are twisted, enhancing cable flexibility and ease of installation. The entire assembly is enclosed in an outer PVC sheath, providing additional protection. This cable is rated for a nominal voltage of 500V (300V relative to earth) and is ideal for fixed installations in both dry and humid environments. It can be installed either under or on plaster.
- Versatility: Ideal for electrical installations in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Easy installation: Flat design simplifies routing under plaster.
- Durability: PVC sheath protects against mechanical damage and environmental influences.
- Safety: PVC insulation ensures effective protection against electric shock.
- Flexibility: Twisted conductors facilitate installation in confined spaces.
Technical specifications and standards
The YDYt 2x1.5 cable complies with standards PN-EN 50525-1:2011 and PN-E-90068. It has an Eca fire reaction class, indicating limited flammability and low smoke emission. The maximum allowable conductor temperature is 70°C, and the minimum bending radius for fixed installations is 62.4 mm. The cable contains no halogens and is not resistant to low temperatures or oils. Conductors are made of solid copper (Class 1), ensuring excellent electrical conductivity and durable connections. Conductor identification is achieved through colored insulation, enabling installers to easily distinguish between wires during installation.
