Construction and application

This insert has been designed with ease of installation and use in mind. It uses a screw connection, which simplifies the connection of wires with a cross-section from 0.5 mm² to 2.5 mm² (solid, stranded with or without a ferrule, and multi-strand). Silver-plated contacts ensure excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The connector/socket angle of 180° (horizontal) facilitates cable organization inside the housing. The IP65 protection degree (after mounting) protects against dust and water jets, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
