DC/AC Hermetic Distribution Box – Safety and Functionality in One

This hermetic distribution box from EMITER, designed for photovoltaic systems, combines surge protection and convenient connection. It is ready to use immediately after delivery, which significantly reduces installation time. The design with DC surge arrester Dehn 1000V type 2 and AC type 2 arrester provides comprehensive protection of the photovoltaic installation against the effects of lightning strikes and other network disturbances.

Protection and functionality for PV installations

The distribution box has been designed to optimize the operation of photovoltaic systems with two strings of PV modules and two MPPT controllers. It is equipped with a 3-phase overcurrent switch with a value of 20A, which effectively protects the circuit against overload. MC4 connectors facilitate and speed up connection to the installation, eliminating the need for additional preparatory work.

• DC surge arresters Dehn type 2: Provide protection against overvoltage on the DC side, minimizing the risk of damage to the inverter and photovoltaic modules.
