Safety and functionality in one – DCAC distribution box EMITER

This hermetic DCAC connection distribution box (EM-1100_DCAC) is designed for photovoltaic installations where ensuring safety and reliability is key. The IP65 protection class construction guarantees resistance to weather conditions, making it ideal for outdoor mounting. This solution is suitable both during the installation phase and in everyday operation.

Overvoltage and short-circuit protection

Inside the distribution box are components providing comprehensive protection for the installation. The DC surge arrester Dehn 1000V type 2 protects against the effects of lightning strikes and other overvoltages in the DC circuit related to photovoltaic panels. Additionally, the AC surge arrester Dehn type 2 (16A, 3-phase) protects the AC side. A type A RCD with a rated current of 40A/300mA provides protection against electric shock and ground faults.

Clear circuit organization

The distribution box is designed for easy installation and maintenance. It allows connection of one string of photovoltaic panels (PV) and one MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) input. This configuration allows for optimal use of solar energy. The clear internal layout facilitates identification of individual circuits and quick response in the event of a failure.
