Safe and functional distribution box for photovoltaic installations
This is a hermetic DCAC distribution box, designed to ensure safety and reliability in photovoltaic systems. The IP65 protection class construction guarantees resistance to weather conditions, making it ideal for mounting both indoors and outdoors. The distribution box is equipped with Noark 1000V type 1+2 DC surge protectors, protecting against the effects of lightning strikes and overvoltages in the network. Additionally, it contains a Noark type 1+2, 10A 1-F AC surge protector for the AC side.
Protection and functionality in one
Inside the distribution box there is space for one PV string and a 40A/100mA residual current device (RCD), which provides additional safety to users by detecting leakage currents to the ground. This configuration allows for comprehensive protection of the photovoltaic installation and connected devices. The use of a Noark 1000V type 1+2 DC surge protector minimizes the risk of damage to installation components in the event of sudden voltage surges, which is particularly important in areas prone to storms.
