The EMITER waterproof distribution box is a complete solution providing protection against the effects of overvoltage and overloads in electrical installations. It is a ready-to-connect set that combines the functions of a distribution box, an overcurrent switch, and a Type 2 surge protector. The construction in an IP65-rated enclosure guarantees safe operation even in harsh environmental conditions.

Functionality and application

The use of a Type 2 AC surge protector protects connected devices from sudden voltage spikes caused by lightning strikes or other network disturbances. A 3-phase overcurrent switch with a rated current of 20A protects the circuit against overload and short circuit – it works like standard protection, but in a compact, waterproof enclosure. This combination of elements makes the distribution box ideal for:
