The BD40A block offers great mounting freedom. It can be easily mounted on a standard DIN rail or directly to a metal plate using screws. A transparent protective cover and insulating screens facilitate inspection and identification of connections. This makes installation quick, simple and intuitive, and subsequent maintenance is trouble-free. The use of copper or aluminum wires is possible without the need for additional adapters.

Parameters and applications – performance tailored to needs

The BD40A block is characterized by high technical parameters that guarantee reliable operation even in demanding conditions. The maximum rated current of 40A and high short-circuit resistance (peak short-circuit current 22kA) ensure effective protection of the electrical installation. The ability to connect wires with a cross-section from 1.5 mm² to 16 mm² on the line side and from 0.75 mm² to 10 mm² on the outgoing side allows the block to be adapted to various applications. Additionally, it meets the requirements of EN 45545, achieving HL3 classification for compartment R23 and HL2 for compartment R22, making it suitable for use in railway transport.
