Functionality and application

The DEC-2CT meter is designed to measure active energy in three-phase networks with a voltage of 230/400V and a frequency of 50Hz. Its wide application includes installations in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Thanks to accuracy class B, it provides reliable measurement results, which is important for settlements with the energy supplier. This model uses indirect/semi-direct measurement method, which affects its flexibility in various installation configurations.

Construction and characteristic features

The device is characterized by a compact design, taking up only 4.5 modules on a TH35 rail. The degree of protection IP20 provides basic protection against touch and dust. It has a counter lockout, which guarantees the integrity of the measurement data. In addition, it is equipped with an S0 type pulse output, enabling remote data reading and integration with energy consumption monitoring systems (e.g. smart home systems). The rated current of the meter is 1.5A, and the maximum current it can measure is 6A. This makes it suitable for most standard home and small commercial installations. The meter is single-rate – it records energy consumption without taking into account different tariff zones. It does not have legalization functions or load profile measurement.
