This CEM12.01-24V-50/60HZ air contactor is a component designed for remote control of electric motors and other energy consumers. It will work both in simple applications and in more complex switching systems, star-delta or reversing. Its solid construction and compliance with standards ensure safe and long-lasting operation.

Characteristics and application

This contactor, with a rated AC-3 current of 12A, allows for efficient switching on and off of loads with a power of up to 5.5 kW (for U=400V). This makes it ideal for controlling various devices in industry, construction or workshops. The rated AC-1 operating current is 25A, which extends its range of applications to non-inductive loads. The control voltage of 24V AC (50/60Hz) ensures compatibility with commonly used control systems.

Construction and functionality

The contactor has 3 normally closed main contacts and 1 normally open auxiliary contact, which allows for the implementation of various control and signaling functions. The connection of the main contacts is made using frame terminals, which ensures a secure and durable connection of the wires. The possibility of mounting on a TH35 rail or a mounting plate increases the flexibility of the installation. In addition, the contactor is compatible with overload relays of the RE series, which allows for effective protection of the motor against overload. The possibility of connecting a surge protector BAM further increases the safety of the installation.
