This CEM18.10-42V-50/60HZ air contactor is designed for remote switching of electric motors and other energy consumers. It is suitable for both simple installations and more complex control systems. This contactor is characterized by a rated operating power of 7.5 kW for AC-3 at 400 V, making it a suitable choice for various applications. The rated current AC-3 is 18 A, and AC-1 – 32 A, providing flexibility in load selection. The control voltage of 42 V AC (50/60 Hz) guarantees compatibility with popular control systems. The design with three main normally closed contacts and one auxiliary normally closed contact allows for the construction of complex automation systems.

Versatility and easy installation

The contactor has frame terminals for connecting the main contacts, which simplifies and speeds up installation. The possibility of mounting on TH35 rail or on a mounting plate (in the case of CEM9 to CEM105 models) increases its versatility. Additionally, the contactor is compatible with dedicated overload relays from the RE series, allowing for effective motor protection. The possibility of connecting to the BAM surge protector coil terminals further increases the safety of the installation.

Additional functionalities and accessories

The availability of BLIME 9-105 mechanical interlocks allows connecting contactors of different sizes (CEM9 to CEM105), which facilitates the construction of complex switching systems (SZR) or star-delta systems. The possibility of installing front and side auxiliary contacts provides signaling of the contactor's operating status, which is important in applications requiring monitoring and alarming. Using these contactors also allows for switching on capacitors (CEM…CN versions).
