Air contactor – reliable switching of loads

This CEM25.00-400V air contactor is a robust solution for remote control of electric motors and other energy consumers. It is suitable for both simple applications and more advanced switching systems, star-delta and reversing. Its design allows for mounting on both TH35 rail and mounting plate, providing great flexibility during installation.

Power and performance in your hands

This contactor is characterized by an AC-3 rated current of 25A at 400V, allowing it to handle loads up to 11 kW. The AC-1 rated current is 45A, making it also suitable for non-inductive loads. The rated control voltage is 400V AC, ensuring compatibility with most standard control systems. Three main normally closed contacts guarantee reliable circuit switching.

Flexibility and system expansion

The contactor design allows for easy addition of auxiliary contacts – front (BCXMFE, BCXMFAE) and side (BCXMLE, BCXMRLE) – directly to the movable part of the main contacts. This facilitates signaling of the contactor's operating status, e.g. for alarm purposes. The possibility of connecting a mechanical interlock BLIME 9-105 allows for connecting contactors of different sizes (CEM9 to CEM105), and the version with a built-in auxiliary contact further increases the system's functionality. Additionally, it is possible to connect a surge protector BAM to the contactor coil terminals. For motor overload protection, a dedicated overload relay from the RE series can be connected directly using the BFE adapter.

Safety and compliance with standards

The contactor meets the requirements of PN-IEC/PN-EN 60 947 and DIN VDE 0660 standards, guaranteeing its safety and reliability. It is designed to operate in ambient temperatures from -25°C to +55°C. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures long life and resistance to environmental conditions.
