Air contactor – a reliable element of automation

The CEM25.10-24V-50/60HZ contactor is a solid and proven device designed for remote switching on and off of electric motors and other energy consumers. It will work both in simple applications and in more complex switching systems, star-delta or reversing. Its construction allows for flexible mounting, and the ability to expand with additional accessories increases the functionality of the entire system.

Power and efficiency in a compact housing

This contactor is characterized by a rated operating power of 11 kW for AC-3 at 400 V. The rated operating current is 25 A for AC-3 and 45 A for AC-1, making it suitable for handling various loads. The AC control voltage is 24 V (50/60 Hz), which ensures compatibility with most standard control systems. The connection of the main contacts is made using frame terminals, which facilitates and speeds up installation.

Flexibility and expandability

The CEM25.10-24V-50/60HZ contactor has three normally closed main contacts and one normally closed auxiliary contact, which allows for the implementation of basic control functions. Additionally, it is possible to mount mechanical interlocks, which increase the safety and functionality of the system. The possibility of installing front or side auxiliary contacts allows for signaling the operating state of the contactor – an ideal solution for monitoring alarm status or other important parameters. The BLIME 9-105 mechanical interlock allows the connection of contactors of different sizes (CEM9 to CEM105), which facilitates the design and implementation of control systems.

Compliance with standards and safety

The device meets the requirements of PN-IEC/PN-EN 60 947 and DIN VDE 0660 standards, which guarantees its reliability and safety of use. A wide range of ambient temperatures (-25 to +55°C) allows operation in various environmental conditions. The possibility of connecting a surge protector BAM to the coil terminals additionally protects the device against damage caused by sudden voltage surges. The contactor design allows mounting on TH35 rail or on a mounting plate, providing flexibility during installation.
