This air contactor, catalog number 004656143 (CEM250.22-230V-50/60Hz), is a robust solution for remote switching of electric motors and other energy consumers. Performance and operating parameters

This contactor is characterized by a rated current of 250A for AC-3 loads (cage motors) and 350A for AC-1 loads (non-inductive loads). It allows controlling loads with a power of up to 132 kW at 400V (AC-3). It has three main normally open contacts and two auxiliary normally open (NO) and two normally closed (NC) contacts, providing flexibility in control circuit configuration. The connection of the main contacts is realized via busbar connection, which facilitates assembly and ensures a secure electrical connection.

Construction and application

The CEM250.22 contactor is designed to work with thermal relays, which provide additional protection against overload. The possibility of mounting additional auxiliary contact blocks increases the functionality of the device, allowing it to be adapted to specific application needs. Thanks to this, the contactor finds application not only in simple switching of motors on/off, but also in more complex systems, such as power switching, star-delta or reversing systems. Compliance with PN-IEC/PN-EN 60 947 and DIN VDE 0660 standards guarantees safety and reliability of operation.

Additionally, it is worth mentioning the possibility of using a BLIME mechanical lock, which protects against accidental starting or stopping in SZR, reversing and star-delta circuits. TBE cage terminals (in CEM112 - CEM300 models) allow easy connection of wires of different diameters, and GAE busbar connections facilitate the mounting of the thermal relay. CCEM terminal covers increase user safety by protecting against accidental contact with live wires.
