This CEM450E.22-255V-AC/DC air contactor is a solid and proven solution for remote switching of electric motors and other energy consumers. Construction and operating parameters

The contactor is characterized by screw connection of the main contacts, which ensures a secure and durable connection of the wires. The possibility of powering the coil with both AC (110-255V, 50/60Hz) and DC (110-255V) voltage increases its flexibility in various applications. It has three normally closed main contacts, two normally open contacts and two normally closed auxiliary contacts – which allows for the implementation of complex control functions. The rated AC3 current is 450A, and AC1 as much as 600A, which guarantees safe operation even under heavy loads. The rated power for AC-3 is 260 kW, and for AC-4 – 150 kW.

Functionality and benefits of use

The CEM450E.22-255V-AC/DC contactor is not only high efficiency, but also a number of practical solutions that facilitate installation and operation. As standard, it is equipped with two auxiliary contact blocks (1NO+1NC), one on each side. The possibility of connecting additional auxiliary contact blocks BCXMRLE increases the functionality of the device. A built-in varistor protects the coil against overvoltage, and TBE cage clamps (in CEM112 - CEM300 models) facilitate the connection of wires of different diameters. Additionally, CCEM terminal covers protect against accidental contact with live wires. The possibility of using a mechanical lock BLIME 112-300E in SZR, reversing and star-delta systems increases the safety of installation operation. Thanks to this, this contactor is ideal for both simple applications and more complex motor control systems.
