Air contactor – reliable switching on and off of motors

This CEM560E.22-255V-AC/DC air contactor is a solid solution for remote control of electric motors and other energy consumers. Designed to work with loads up to 560 kW (at 400 V in AC3 category), it will be suitable for both simple applications and more advanced switching systems, star-delta or reversing. Its construction allows for easy expansion with additional auxiliary contact blocks, which increases its functionality.

Construction and application

The CEM560E.22-255V-AC/DC contactor is characterized by screw connection of the main contacts, which ensures a secure and durable connection of the wires. The possibility of powering the coil with both AC (110…255 V, 50/60 Hz) and DC (110…255 V) voltage increases the flexibility of the installation. This makes the device universal and can be used in various control systems. A built-in varistor protects the coil circuit from overvoltage, which extends the life of the contactor.

Additionally, the contactor has 3 normally closed main contacts, 2 normally open auxiliary contacts and 2 normally closed auxiliary contacts, which provides flexibility in the control circuit configuration. Compliance with PN-IEC/PN-EN 60947 and DIN VDE 0660 standards guarantees the safety and reliability of the device.
