Air contactor – reliable control of motors and receivers

This air contactor from the CEM series is a solid solution for remote switching on and off of electric motors and other energy receivers. It will work both in simple applications and in more advanced switching systems, star-triangle or reversing. The contactor design allows for mounting on a TH35 rail or mounting plate, providing flexibility during installation.

Key features and applications

The CEM65.00-24V-DC contactor is characterized by a rated current of AC-3 at 65A and the ability to operate at a control voltage of DC 24V. The rated power for AC-3 is 30 kW at 400V, making it a suitable choice for various industrial applications. Thanks to the fact that it has three main normally open contacts, it enables effective control of inductive loads, such as cage induction motors. The rated current AC-1 is 110A, which confirms its versatility in handling different types of loads.

Additionally, it is possible to directly connect a dedicated overload relay from the RE series, which allows for comprehensive motor protection. The availability of auxiliary contacts (up to 8 pieces depending on the model) allows for expanding the functionality of the contactor and adapting it to specific application needs. It is worth mentioning the special CEM…CN version intended for switching capacitors.
