Air contactor CEM80.11-230V – reliable switching on and off of motors
This air contactor from the CEM series is a proven component for remote control of electric motors and other energy consumers. Power and efficiency in every circuit
The CEM80.11-230V contactor is characterized by a rated current of AC-3 at 80A, allowing it to handle loads up to 37 kW at 400V. The rated current AC-1 is 110A, making it also suitable for non-inductive loads. This makes it a versatile component that will find application in many industrial and commercial installations. The ability to connect an overload relay from the RE series directly to the contactor provides additional motor protection.
Construction and mounting flexibility
The contactor has three main normally closed contacts and one normally open and one normally closed auxiliary contact, allowing for the implementation of various control functions. The possibility of mounting both on a TH35 rail and on a mounting plate (depending on the size of the contactor) provides flexibility during installation. In addition, compatibility with BLIME mechanical interlocks allows for connecting contactors of different sizes (CEM9 to CEM105), and the BLIME 9-105 02 locking version has a built-in auxiliary contact. Connection to the BAM surge protector coil terminals is also possible. Front (BCXMFE, BCXMFAE) and side (BCXMLE, BCXMRLE) auxiliary contacts allow signaling the operating status of the contactor – which is particularly important in alarm or device monitoring systems.
