Air fuse BN 25A is a protective element designed to protect electrical circuits against overload and short circuit. It is a key component in power distribution systems, ensuring safety of use and minimizing the risk of failure. Mounted on a bundle of insulated or non-insulated wires, it works well in street lighting installations as well as in securing small receivers.

Construction and mounting

This model is characterized by a snap-fit mounting, which facilitates its installation and replacement. Made of durable plastic, it provides good insulation and resistance to weather conditions. The fuse socket is made of glazed technical porcelain, which increases its durability and corrosion resistance. Upper and lower contacts made of brass are equipped with main terminals, guaranteeing a secure connection with wires with a cross-section from 1.5 mm² to 10 mm². The cover made of plastic provides additional protection against accidental contact with live parts.

Application and characteristic features

BN 25A fuse with a rated current of 25A and a rated voltage of 500V is compatible with E27 or E33 upper contact threads. Thanks to its construction and materials used, it provides reliable protection of the electrical installation for a long time. Metal elements of the socket are protected against corrosion with protective coatings, which increases its lifespan even in difficult environmental conditions. The version with a cover further increases the safety of use. Model DII ensures compatibility with a wide range of electrical installations.
