Fuse disconnect switch – reliable circuit protection

The EFD 8 fuse disconnect switch is an element used to safely disconnect electrical circuits and protect against overloads and short circuits. Designed to work with 8x31 mm fuse links, it provides effective protection of electrical installations in residential and commercial buildings. Mounting on a TH 35 rail facilitates quick and convenient installation.

Functionality and status indication

The construction of the disconnect switch is based on two poles, allowing the protection of two wires simultaneously. The EFD 8 disconnect switch is designed to operate with a rated current of up to 20A at a voltage of AC 400V. It meets the requirements of category AC-22B, which means it is suitable for protecting circuits containing induction motors and other devices generating inrush currents. The ability to connect wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² ensures a wide range of applications. The LED indicator is particularly useful in places where a quick response to a failure is crucial – e.g. in workshops, garages or technical rooms.
