Floor-mounted hermetic enclosure – reliable protection and flexibility

This robust freestanding enclosure with a mounting plate, measuring 800x1850x300 mm, is designed for demanding indoor and outdoor applications. Made of steel with a powder coating in RAL7035, it provides durable protection for electrical components against weather conditions and mechanical damage. Protection class I and a high degree of protection IP65 guarantee safe operation.

The HXS300 3-12 PH1V1 enclosure is part of the SOLID GSX system, which means it can be expanded and integrated with a wide range of accessories – from side brackets to TH35 rails and covers. This allows it to be easily adapted to individual project needs. The enclosure design also allows for combining several enclosures into sets, which facilitates organization and cabling.

Construction and functionality

The enclosure is characterized by a solid steel construction, providing high resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. It has up to 12 mounting rails, allowing for the installation of a large number of devices. A removable rear wall with a polyurethane gasket facilitates the installation of cabling and apparatus while maintaining the enclosure's tightness. Membrane cable glands at the top and aluminum glands at the bottom allow for convenient cable routing. Additionally, knockouts in the side walls allow for connecting enclosures into sets and running cables or busbars between sections.

The kit includes a base with a height of 100 mm, which allows for stable positioning of the enclosure on the floor and additional cable mounting. The ability to screw bases together allows for achieving the required construction height. The enclosure is equipped with a three-point door locking system with a toothed mechanism and lever, and can optionally be equipped with a system or patent insert for increased security.
