NH00 gG 6A/500V fuse link is an element used to protect electrical installations against the effects of overloads and short circuits. The NH00 gG 6A/500V fuse link is characterized by a time-delay characteristic, which means that it allows for short-term exceeding of the rated current without disconnecting the circuit. This is particularly important when starting devices with electric motors, which generate a high starting current. This avoids unnecessary tripping of the protection during normal device operation. The combined (double) tripping indicator ensures easy and quick identification of a blown fuse – both visually on the top cover and in the central part of the ceramic body. This facilitates locating the damage and reduces repair time.

Construction and product features

The blade contacts are made of silver-plated brass, which ensures good electrical contact and minimizes power losses. The aluminum covers provide protection against corrosion. Filling the body with quartz sand of a special granulation guarantees high short-circuit breaking capacity and stable electrical parameters during operation. The lack of metal insulated grips (IMGL) means a standard design, typical for this type of fuse links.
