Knife fuse links NH are a proven element of electrical protection, protecting against the effects of short circuits and overloads. The design and parameters of these fuse links comply with PN-93/E-06160 (gF), PN-IEC-269 and VDE 0636 standards, which guarantees their reliable operation and safety of use. Model NH000 gG 20A/690V, thanks to its time-delay characteristic, is perfect for applications requiring tolerance to short-term overvoltages, e.g. when starting motors.

Construction and application

The NH000 gG 20A/690V fuse link is made of high-quality materials – a steatite body (thermally stable material), silver-plated brass knife contacts and a corrosion-resistant aluminum cover. The inside of the fuse link is filled with quartz sand of a special granulation, which ensures a high short-circuit breaking capacity of up to 100kA and stable electrical parameters. This ensures that the fuse link effectively protects circuits against damage caused by sudden current surges.

The KOMBI version, equipped with a double operating indicator – a red eye on the ceramic body and a springy plate on the cover – makes it easy to quickly identify a blown fuse link. Additionally, the indicator on the top cover allows cooperation with the NVS 5 microswitch for remote tripping indication, which is particularly important in automatic control and monitoring systems.
