Knife fuse links – reliable installation protection
Knife fuse links NH are a proven element of electrical protection, protecting installations from the effects of short circuits and overloads. This model, with a rated current of 250A and a voltage of 690V, is designed for demanding industrial applications. It meets the standards PN-93/E-06160 (gF), PN-IEC-269 and VDE 0636, guaranteeing safety and compliance with applicable standards.
The NH1 gG fuse link is characterized by a time-delay gG characteristic, which means it is intended for general use and provides effective protection of conductors against overloads and short circuits. Made of high-quality materials – a steatite (thermally stable) body, silver-plated brass knife contacts and aluminum covers – it ensures long-lasting reliability and corrosion resistance. Filling the body with quartz sand of a special granulation further increases the short-circuit breaking capacity to 100kA.
- Double tripping indicator: a combination of a red eye on the ceramic body and a springy plate on the cover facilitates quick identification of a blown fuse, both in the fuse base and in the disconnector.
- Remote signaling compatibility: the indicator in the upper cover allows connection of an NVS 5 microswitch for remote signaling of fuse operation.
- Easy installation: the silver-plated knife contacts are designed to ensure easy installation in the fuse base or disconnector.
- Safety of use: insulated handles (NH…/I…) are available to increase protection against contact with live parts.
This fuse link model is a solid solution for installers and end-users looking for reliable electrical protection. The use of high-quality materials and compliance with standards ensure long-lasting and safe operation. The total Joule integral of switching is 620000 A²s, and the pre-arcing 120000 A²s, which proves high resistance to surge currents. Power losses are 20W at rated current.
