Knife fuse links – reliable installation protection

Knife fuse links NH are a proven element of electrical protection, protecting installations from the effects of short circuits and overloads. The NH KOMBI series is distinguished by the use of a double operating indicator – both the indicator on the top cover and in the central part of the ceramic body signal the blown fuse simultaneously, which facilitates quick identification of the problem. This feature is particularly useful in both fuse bases and disconnectors.

The NH3 gG 355A/690V fuse is designed to operate in alternating current (AC) systems with a rated voltage of up to 690V and a rated current of 355A. It is characterized by a time-delay gG characteristic, which means it is intended for general use and provides effective protection of conductors against overloads and short circuits. The rated short-circuit switching capacity is 100kA.

The fuse design has been carefully thought out – the body is made of durable steatite, and the knife contacts are made of silver-plated brass, which ensures thermal stability and corrosion resistance. Filling the body with specially granulated quartz sand guarantees high breaking capacity and stable electrical parameters. In addition, two operating indicators provide easy visual control of the fuse status.

Insulated grips (NH…/I…) are also available to provide additional protection against contact with live parts, and special versions with a striker (NH…/K…) are intended for use with fuse disconnectors equipped with signaling auxiliary switches.
