Construction and characteristic features

The NH3 gG 400A/690V fuse link has been designed with durability and efficiency in mind. Made of high-quality steatite (body), silver-plated brass (knife contacts) and aluminum (covers), it provides corrosion resistance and thermal stability. Filling the body with quartz sand of a special granulation increases the short-circuit switching capacity to 100 kA at 690V and ensures stable electrical parameters. Additionally, the fuse link is equipped with a double indication of operation – a red eye in the central part of the ceramic body and a springy plate on the top cover – which facilitates quick identification of a blown fuse. This type of indicator also enables cooperation with the NVS 5 microswitch for remote signaling of the fuse link status.
