Installation and device safety – NH1 fuse links

NH1 gG 25A/500V knife fuse link is a reliable protection against the effects of short circuits and overloads in electrical installations. Manufactured in accordance with PN-93/E-06160 (gF), PN-IEC-269 and VDE 0636 standards, it provides effective protection of wires and devices. It is a key component for ensuring continuity of operation and safety in demanding industrial environments.

Construction and characteristic features

The fuse link is characterized by a solid construction, using a steatite body – a material with high thermal stability. The silver-plated brass knife contacts guarantee good electrical contact and minimize power losses. The aluminum covers provide corrosion resistance, which translates into a long product life. The fuse link is filled with quartz sand of a special granulation, which affects the high short-circuit breaking capacity (120 kA) and stability of electrical parameters.

An additional advantage is the double indication of operation – a red eye in the central part of the ceramic body and a springy plate on the top cover. This solution ensures easy and reliable identification of a blown fuse, both in the fuse base and in the fuse disconnector. The KOMBI version allows cooperation with the NVS 5 microswitch for remote signaling of the fuse status.

Application and parameters

The NH1 gG 25A/500V fuse link is designed to protect circuits with a rated current of 25A at a voltage of AC 500V (and DC 250V). The gG characteristic indicates its use as a general-purpose protection, protecting against overloads and short circuits. The total Joule integral of switching is 5900 A²s, and the pre-arcing 760 A²s, which proves high energy efficiency during protection operation. Thanks to this, the fuse link works perfectly in industrial installations where high reliability and a quick response to failures are required.
