Knife fuse links – reliable installation protection

The NH2 gG 100A/500V knife fuse link is a protective element for electrical installations against the effects of short circuits and overloads. Designed to operate in AC systems, it provides effective protection for wires and devices. Its parameters comply with PN-93/E-06160 (gF), PN-IEC-269 and VDE 0636 standards, which guarantees a high level of safety and reliability.

Construction and characteristic features

The fuse link is made of high-quality materials, such as steatite (body) and silver-plated brass (knife contacts). The body filled with quartz sand of a special granulation ensures stable electrical parameters and a high short-circuit breaking capacity – up to 120 kA. It is equipped with a double tripping indicator – a red eye on the ceramic body and a springy plate on the top cover. This solution facilitates quick identification of a blown fuse, both in fuse bases and in disconnectors. Additionally, the double indicator enables cooperation with the NVS 5 microswitch for remote tripping signaling.
