Construction and characteristic features

The NH2 gG 400A/500V fuse link is characterized by a solid construction. The body is made of steatite – a material with high thermal stability, and the knife contacts are covered with silver, ensuring excellent conductivity and minimizing the risk of corrosion. The aluminum covers provide additional protection against external factors. The fuse link is filled with quartz sand of precise granulation, which affects its high short-circuit breaking capacity – up to 120kA.

A special feature of this fuse link is the dual tripping indicator (KOMBI). This means the presence of both a traditional indicator on the top cover (spring clip) and a red eye located in the central part of the ceramic body. This solution ensures easy and quick identification of a blown fuse link, both in fuse bases and in disconnectors. Additionally, the indicator on the top cover allows cooperation with the NVS 5 microswitch for remote signaling of the fuse link status.
