Knife fuse links – reliable installation protection

Knife fuse links are a basic element of protection for electrical installations against the effects of short circuits and overloads. The offered NH2C gG 224A/500V model, manufactured in accordance with PN-93/E-06160 (gF), PN-IEC-269 and VDE 0636 standards, provides effective protection in demanding industrial conditions. It is primarily distinguished by its high reliability and durability, confirmed by production in the European Union.

Construction and application

The NH2C gG 224A/500V fuse link is designed to protect circuits and devices with a time-current characteristic corresponding to the old delayed-action fuse links (gG). Its construction is based on a steatite body – a material with high thermal stability – and silver-plated brass knife contacts, which guarantee excellent current conduction and corrosion resistance. The fuse link is filled with quartz sand of a special granulation, ensuring a high short-circuit breaking capacity (up to 120 kA) and stable electrical parameters.

Remember to select appropriate insulating handles (R 00-3 or GPSHE/AI) for mounting the fuse link in a fuse base. For HVL, KVL fuse disconnectors, fuse links with a striker (NH.../K…) equipped with microswitches for remote operation indication are recommended.
