Knife fuse links – reliable installation protection
Knife fuse links NH are a proven element of electrical protection, protecting against the effects of short circuits and overloads. The design and parameters of these fuse links comply with PN-93/E-06160 (gF), PN-IEC-269 and VDE 0636 standards, which guarantees their reliable operation in various industrial applications.
This model, designated as NH2 gG 300A/500V, is a time-delay fuse, designed to protect circuits requiring resistance to short-term current surges. The gG characteristic provides protection against both overloads and short circuits. The rated current of 300A at 500V AC makes it a suitable choice for medium-power installations.
Construction and distinguishing features
The fuse link is made of high-quality materials – a body made of steatite (thermally stable material), silver-plated brass knife contacts and aluminum covers. This combination ensures durability and corrosion resistance. The inside of the fuse link is filled with quartz sand of a special granulation, which translates into a high short-circuit breaking capacity (up to 120kA) and stable electrical parameters.
Particular attention is paid to the double tripping indicator – a red eye in the central part of the ceramic body and a springy plate on the top cover. This system provides a clear and easy-to-read indication of the fuse link blowing, which facilitates quick location and removal of the fault. Additionally, the indicator in the top cover allows cooperation with the NVS 5 microswitch for remote tripping signaling.
- Manufactured from high-quality materials guarantees long-lasting and reliable operation.
- Double tripping indicator facilitates identification of a blown fuse link.
- Compliance with standards ensures safety and compatibility with other installation elements.
- High short-circuit breaking capacity minimizes the risk of damage to the installation.
- Production in the EU confirms high quality standards.
Application
NH fuse links are widely used in:
- Low-voltage switchboards
- Power circuits for electric motors
- Industrial installations
- Protection against overloads and short circuits in various electrical applications
Thanks to their versatility and reliability, NH fuse links are a key element of every safe and efficient electrical installation.
